You may be wondering how exactly casino parties work. The first thing to keep in mind is that casinos and gambling are not legal in Texas. We cannot allow any real money gambling at our events except under the specific circumstances allowed by the law in the case of a private game where all money is redistributed to the players and the host does not keep any portion. More details on the rules can be found at the Texas Attorney General website. Don't let any of that keep you from enjoying the excitement of playing your favorite games. This article will describe how things will go the day of your casino party. We use our 20 years of experience to ensure your event goes smoothly from set up to clean up.
Our set up team will arrive at your venue well in advance of your guests arriving. Our team leaders will examine the area designated for the games to create a floor plan that flows well with spacing to allow for aisleways between the tables and enough room for seating to keep your guests comfortable. We will then begin bringing our portable casino tables into the venue and setting them up.
Once we have the tables, chairs, and barstools set, we will ask you to tour the casino area to make sure you are satisfied with our layout. If necessary, we will make adjustments to get the layout to your preference. When set up is complete, our team leader will discuss with you the timeline for the festivities, confirm the details of the prize giveaway, and provide you with the "Casino Bucks" for your guests. The "Casino Bucks" can be customized with a company logo or photo at your request for an additional fee. Our team will then put the finishing touches on the casino area to make sure it is prepared for your guests to arrive.
As your guests arrive, you can give each of your guests the "Casino Bucks" which they will exchange for chips when they are ready to play. We recommend distributing the casino bucks at the door or check in table to make sure everyone gets their starting "cash." We recommend starting each of your guests with $1,000. If you plan to serve dinner to your guests or have a speech before gaming begins, they can hold on to their voucher until those activities are finished before exchanging it for chips at the casino tables.
When the gaming tables open, your guests can take their voucher to any the tables to exchange it for chips. The chip values may vary depending on the particulars of your event. Our normal chip values are: Red - $5, Blue - $25, Black - $100, Purple - $1,000 with a minimum bet of $5 at all of the tables. The chips can be customized with a company logo or graphic of your choice for an additional fee. The gaming will continue until the scheduled end of your casino table rental.
If you are planning to give away prizes tied to your guests' casino winnings, our dealers will stop the games about 10 minutes before the scheduled end of your rental to cash out the players. If you are giving a prize to the one person who has the most chips left at the end, our dealers will count each players chips to determine who was the the most at their table. Then our team lead will check all of the tables to see who was the most chips left overall. The team lead will then share the winners name with the host so that you can present the winner with their prize.
Once Cashout is complete, our set up team will begin packing our equipment and preparing it to be taken out. We will do our best to keep our noise level down while moving quickly and staying out of the way to keep from disrupting the party. We will then wish you a good night and depart.
